User consent and withdrawal of consentData-link.hr collects personal data that has been given by users voluntarily. It is considered that with the acceptance of the Data-link.hr’s Terms and conditions, of which this Statement of privacy and data protection is an integral part thereof, the user has given his consent and expressly stated his will with which he expresses his consent with the processing of his/her personal data for the purpose of using the services offered by Data-link.hr. The user may withdraw his consent with a written notification at any time.
ControllerData-link is the controller of your personal data.
Personal data is any data that refers to a natural person whose identity has been established or can be established, directly or indirectly.
Data processing is any action executed on personal data, like for example collection, storage, use and insight and transfer or personal data.
This Policy shall not apply to anonymous data. Anonymous data is data that can be linked to a specific natural person.
What kind of data is collected?Data-link.hr gathers all personal data that accumulate when a user uses the services offered by Data-link.hr (Internet site) and communicate with Data-link.
Only the personal data essential for achieving the purpose for which the user is using the offered services will be collected, and their scope shall not be greater than that necessary to achieve this purpose.
The aforementioned includes:
Data that users enter via online forms or that they enter in another way while using the services of Data-link.hr (for example: telephone or email), including personal data (name, address, telephone number, date of birth, gender, method of payment, etc.), user data sent or automatically generated (for example: date and time of using the services, actual and previous use of the site, IP address, data that refer to the browser used, device codes, actual location, if such information is given, etc.), as well as interaction data if accessible without installing additional programmes on the computer (for example: mouse movements and clicks or pressing the keys on the keyboard on an Internet site), personal data generated by Data-link.hr or third parties (for example codes), correspondence and other communication with users (for example: email, telephone conversations, which may be recorded if necessary).
Purpose of data processingData-link.hr may use collected user data or data that has been collected on its behalf for the following purposes:
- Supplying services offered by Data-link.hr,
- Preparation of various forms of statistics that refer to, for example, the amount of user interest for a product and comparison of services or for other services offered by Data-link.hr,
- Internal training and quality control,
- Maintenance and development of client relationships,
- Guarantee of security and accessibility of the systems and data of Data-link.hr and their service providers,
- Corporate transactions carried out by Data-link.hr, which may affect user data,
- Prevention, detection and blocking of any kind of misuse,
- Responding to justified official enquiries or queries related to argumenting lawsuits or other legal disputes related to Data-link.hr or in which Data-link.hr is a participant.
Brochures, commercial communicationIn relation to the services offered by Data-link.hr, the aforementioned may periodically send brochures or other content (of a commercial nature) to the address or number of any user that has registered his/her email or any other email or mobile phone number with Data-link.hr. Upon registration, users give their consent to receive such brochures and content. However, they may notify Data-link.hr at any time and without fee that they no longer wish to receive or be notified about the abovelisted.
Is any data forwarded to third parties?Other than the below listed exceptions, Data-link.hr in principle does not forward any personal data to third persons:
Data-link.hr may invite third parties to process personal data on their behalf and solely for the purpose of the business operations of Data-link.hr (e.g. market research institutions). Data-link.hr shall apply appropriate measures to ensure that such third party processes data exclusively in the manner that Data-link.hr has authorised it to process the data; Data-link.hr may present personal data to third parties if its user so requests (registration, request for an offer, etc.), if this is otherwise necessary to provide services requested by the user of if Data-link.hr expressly notifies the user about the fact that his/her data shall be presented. In exceptional cases (e.g. misuse), the data of users may also be presented to third parties for other purposes listed in this data privacy statement or for purposes envisaged by law. Data-link.hr cannot control, guarantee or warrant that third persons shall abide by the data protection rules applied by Data-link.hr; they process data for their purposes, possibly also abroad where different legislation applies.
Data-link.hr may present personal data to third parties if such is envisaged on a legal basis.
Furthermore, Data-link.hr may present third parties with anonymous user data. Such data have a form that does not allow third parties to discover the identity of the subject user or such is unlikely.
All Data-link.hr employees and business partners are responsible for abiding by privacy protection principles through contractual relations for Data-link d.o.o. and affiliated companies.
Where and how is data stored?In the context of storage or processing of user data in other ways, Data-link.hr will apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised or other insecure processing. Such measures are subject to regular checks and if necessary are changed. This also applies to third parties in charge of system management.
Personal data is stored in a form that allows user identification and not longer than necessary for the purpose for which the data was collected or further processed.
We use various security measures, including encryption and authentication, so as to protect and maintain the security, integrity and accessibility of your data.
Among others, we also use the following measures:
- strictly restricted personal access to your data according to the “need to know” principle and solely for the purposes about which you have been informed,
- secure transfer of collected data,
- continually monitoring of access to IT systems, to detect and prevent misuse of personal data.
How long do we keep your data?We store and process personal data only for as long as is necessary for the execution of certain legitimate purposes unless applicable regulations provide for longer periods of time for a particular purpose. In the event of giving consent for marketing, data is stored until such consent is withdrawn. In the event of rejected offers, where consent has not been given for marketing, data related to the offer is kept for one year, however in the event that you request its deletion, the same shall be deleted immediately.
Personal data that is no longer required shall be irrevocably anonymized or destroyed in a safe manner.
Questions and suggestions, queries, corrections or deletionA user shall be entitled at all times to withdraw consent given for the processing of personal data and may request cessation of further processing of his/her data, unless it is a case of processing of data for statistical purposes, when personal data no longer enables identification of the person to which it refers. The user is also entitled to request correction or changes to personal data that he/she gave for processing. A withdrawal of consent or a request for correction or changes to personal data shall be submitted in written form via email to email@example.com or to the postal address: Zadarska ulica 80, 10 000 Zagreb. A user has the right to expressly object to the processing of his/her personal data for marketing purposes and in that case personal data relating to him/her shall not be processed for that purpose. The objection to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes shall be submitted by the user via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or to the postal address: Zadarska ulica 80, 10 000 Zagreb. All other questions, suggestions and comments related to the processing of personal data are welcome.
Anyone who deems that his/her rights guaranteed by this Act have been infringed upon may submit a request to determine violation of rights to the Agency for protection of personal data.
